Venice sounds cool but I think we'd be feeding homeless people with our BBQ and parking can be a hassle but I really do love that pool.

Maybe Borrego Springs? we could actually reserve the whole park just for us Topians and there are camp grounds just around the corner.  If you have never skated there, you would have a great time. It IS a haul for almost anyone except Mogulman but there is a real cool vibe and again, the park would be ours. Other then the lack of real pool coping, it is pretty damned fun.

OH, and obviously we would have to do it before summer hits!

It was too hot at Chino last year. So if our location is a hot place lets think aout doing this sooner. If we choose Venice or Solvang we can do it sometime after the pool party.

FYI - It can get booked up there a year in advance with car rallys and marathon events.  Check the city of Solvang's event calendar before picking a date.  Last big session up there just happened to be during a big bike rally, and no rooms were to be found.

I am so into this.  Let's get a date, so I can start preping the ol' lady.  Marriot sounds swanky, maybe I can even get her to go!

It looks like there is a wine festival and 1/2 marathon on the 8th of May and a Bike race on the 16th.

So, that could leave the weekends of the 1st, the 22nd, or the 29th.

Isn't the Protech on the 15th or 16th?

I am down to bring the RV up there for the weekend...I have family up there so this will be great! It will be fun to meet everyone.

The second week of May is Mothers Day Weekend.

All three of those dates work for my crew of 3 because Rachel is in!  Let's seal this date off, book some Marriot rooms, and get krunk. 

Well, the mothers day weekend thing may be an issue for some but Ken you make the call.

Amy has plans on Mothers Day - Dale's Michelle cant get away on the last weekend of any month. So it has to be the 1st weekend in May or the  first weekend in June.

Nothing really going on in the first weekend of May (May 1st, Saturday) in Solvang.

Well, it appears that the Marriott in Buelton is not longer a Marriott. The nearest Marriott is in Santa Maria. It's a pretty nice hotel, it's brand new, we stayed at it on a recent road trip to San Jose.

Ken I was going to rent a motor home... Found out they are around $750.00 + miles and gas for 2 days... Marriot is sounding pretty good. How far is that from Solvang / Wine tasting?

36 mi from Santa Maria to Solvang.

Lake Cachuma has campsites and is only about 15 minutes from da Vang.  Not sure if it is a county park or a state park.  Colin has camped there before...

Sorry to say...  I just cancelled my reservations for the hotel,  that I moved for the higher rate to be closer to you camping fools.... The camp ground looks cool yo guys are going to have a blast!!!!  Really, I am going to miss this reunion and all of you.

How do I sign up for a car or camper? I am on the way right off of 101, so can be picked up or can drive. No real preference other then to skate with my friends/Bro's for 1, 2 3, or 4 day's.

Ken, we will be up there Thursday. What can we do / bring on Saturday to help out? Please let me know. And, are we cooking food at the skatepark or at the camp site? Pat and I are roughing it in a  hotel and traveling light so if there is something we can pick up while we are up there?

 We are going to provide chili cheese dogs. Anyine can bring extras such as chips and drinks. We will eat at the skatepark.

Cool, we will bring some drinks and chips and salsa if that's cool.
